About & Contact

In my childhood and youth for many years I was looking for a way to tell stories in many different ways. I tried writing, music, arts, dancing, photography, all was fun but nothing was fulfilling me.
But finally during an internship I discovered my passion for the moving pictures. From the first second having the camera in my hands I knew that I had found what I was looking for a long time and an exciting journey began.

Within a bachelor studies I took my first steps and experiences in doing fiction shorts and the fire of creating emotional movies with my pictures was growing.
In the following years I gained experience on set as a second and first camera assistant for student films and various film and television productions where I could watch the work of many different cinematographers and directors.

A big change came in 2010 when I started my studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Besides many great projects within the studies I got a big influence of a scholarship at La Fèmis in Paris where I could join the great lightning lessons of Ricardo Aronowich.

Telling stories with my pictures and putting them into the right light to hit the emotions of the audience – this is a goal I always reach for and what drives me to think about new ways of visual storytelling for every single project.
